In 2026, software buyers research differently. Enterprise founders, engineering heads, and procurement teams now ask conversational models—like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews—to evaluate vendors, compare software features, and recommend platforms directly.
Yet, when we looked at existing SEO software, we realized they were completely blind to this transformation. They tracked traditional keyword rankings, but gave teams zero data on whether AI models were actually recommending their software or citing their competitors.
